Taipeiplas 2008 hosted by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI) ended in a satisfactory way on Sep. 22. There were total of 429 exhibitors occupied 2,466 booths, a 14.1% and 21.6% growth respectively from last exhibition. The number of domestic visitors entered the show with name cards has increased 32.5% from year 2006 to 15,341 people, and the number of foreign buyers grew to 2,342 people, a 32.5% increase from year 2006. Both numbers had set its all time record high.
